Cookie Policy

This page lists every cookie and similar browser-storage technology Zilo uses. We keep this deliberately short: we don't use advertising or analytics trackers of any kind.
1. Strictly necessary (always on)
These don't require consent under the ePrivacy Directive, since the service can't work without them:
- Firebase Authentication session — keeps you signed in to your dashboard.
- zilo.locale (browser storage) — remembers your chosen language (English/Finnish).
- sidebar_state (cookie) — remembers whether your dashboard sidebar is open or collapsed.
- zilo.cookie-consent (browser storage) — remembers the choice you make in the cookie banner itself.
2. Optional
Sentry error monitoring — helps us catch and fix crashes and bugs. This only runs if you click “Accept all” in the cookie banner; choosing “Necessary only” keeps it off.
3. What we don't use
No advertising cookies, no analytics (e.g. Google Analytics), and no cross-site tracking of any kind.
4. Managing your choice
You're asked once, on your first visit. To change your mind later, clear this site's data/local storage in your browser settings — you'll be asked again on your next visit.
5. Changes to this policy
We'll update the date at the top of this page if what we use changes.
