Terms of Service

Zilo lets shops (“Providers”) run a digital punch-card loyalty program, and lets their customers (“Customers”) join, collect stamps, and redeem rewards through an Apple or Google Wallet pass — no separate app or account required for Customers.

Providers must give accurate information when signing up and are responsible for keeping their password confidential and for all activity on their account. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the business you register.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to send marketing messages to anyone who hasn't consented.
• Attempt to access another Provider's data or another Customer's wallet pass.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to reverse-engineer it.

As a Provider, you are responsible for lawfully collecting and using your Customers' data (for example, only sending marketing emails to Customers who've opted in). Zilo processes that data on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. A data processing agreement is available on request.

Zilo is currently offered as a free beta. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we'll give existing Providers advance notice before any charges apply.

Wallet passes are issued through Apple Wallet and Google Wallet and are subject to Apple's and Google's own terms. We can't guarantee pass delivery, appearance, or compatibility on every device, since that depends on those platforms.

You may stop using Zilo at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. On request, we'll delete your data in line with our Privacy Policy's retention section.

Zilo is provided “as is”, without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.

We'll update the date at the top of this page and post material changes here before they take effect.
